You can also learn something at Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. There are a number of resources from individuals not from the United States (USA) such as India and Pakistan who are interested in traveling to America to take exams or who are already in the USA preparing to take step 1, step 2, step 3, etc. of the USMLE. The US embassy has a thirteen steps to studying in the U.S.A. page. I noticed a Pakistan group on MSN and I'm sure there are likely other country-specific sites out there, for example you can get a list of USMLE testing centers in India or search for USMLE testing centers in otehr countries.
